There are three different ways to look for jurisprudence in our Gender Jurisprudence Collections. Using the Search Collections function yields the most precise searches, allowing you to select criteria from up to 25 different categories from the name of the accused to the gender keywords that appear in the decision, the presence of female judges or victims, and even whether gender charges were dropped from an indictment. You will be searching inside of a universe of documents that is limited to those which have been identified by our staff as having a gender issue, excluding decisions that are irrelevant to gender-related research. The Browse Collections tool allows you to look for cases using a folder system, with folders organized by tribunal, accused, organ of the court, etc., and gives you access to the full database of all case documents we have collected--to date, more than 26,000 court documents. Finally, Search by Keywords is a Google-powered tool that looks for the word you type in the text of all the documents in the entire collection, retrieiving every decision that includes that word.
